Thanks for stopping by the site. Let me introduce myself....
I grew up in the Grand Rapids area and moved to the outskirts of
Freeport, MI after serving my time in Vietnam.
I've always had a great appreciation and affinity for music. I picked
up the guitar around the age of 12 and wrote my first song when I
was 15. I really didn't get serious about writing until the mid 80's.
I make my living on the road as a truck driver for Steelcase. This
profession has certainly granted me a lot of time to write songs and
reflect on my life experiences.
I recently finished my debut album 'Born To Sing'. It was a 3 year
process and the result is something that I am truly proud of. I feel
that this CD reflects my passion and my desire in life to write and
sing. I would be honored if you would give it a listen! I have
recently had national exposure on the XM Satellite radio station
171 with Marcia Campbell. The response has been overwhelming!
My song 'Your Freedoms Not Free' is gaining popularity and is
loved by many people. Due to the times we are living in, people are
able to identify with the music I am writing and draw comfort from
the lyrics.
